Addict of Mountain biking, José had a race in the Citadel of Blaye this weekend. To participate in it, he had joined a long time ago and decided to go all the Pentecost long weekend in a Camp In Van. Marie and José took possession of their Camp In’ on Saturday morning and have just returned it enchanted of their time in the Blayais.
Here are their impressions :
” We discovered a side of the Gironde which we did not know ! I often made this race and I did not know this small place as I discovered it this time. Previous years, we spent there the day only but this time by discovering the concept of the mini camper, we wanted to try it differently. At first we were able to arrive the day before and our night, in spite of the thunderstorm, good and restful was to be on form in the morning of the race.
Blaye welcomes campers 48 hours of the blow we were able to remain to discover the Citadel and its underground passages, the city of Blaye and to admire boats on the Garonne and the sun lie down. The return way was magnificent ! We borrowed the road of the Ledge, it is just haughtiness, at the level of bank, the small villages which we crossed were steeped in history. And Bourg sur Gironde, a small jewel ! How could we not know what it’s near us ! ”
